Where to Enjoy Holiday Lights in New Orleans

New Orleans knows just how exciting this time of year can be, and one of the best ways to enjoy the holidays is by getting out in the experience! One way to do that is by going to see holiday lighting displays. It’s festive, beautiful, and a great way for the family to get together and make memories.

Here are some of the best displays in Louisiana! (Directions included)

  1. City Park – Celebration in the Oaks

    This is a decades old NoLa tradition (and the official home of Mr. Bingle!). This is one of th biggest, brightest Holiday lights celebrations in the country! It’s up until January 2.

  2. Lafreniere Park

    Experience the LED light-filled wonder with a trip to Lafreniere Park where you can see a 60-foot sea serpent and a magical castle.

  3. Light Up the Huey

    Enjoy the lights lining the streets from 10th Street to the Mississippi River. These lights will be displayed into the Carnival season.

  4. Waldorf Wonderland Lighting

    Join the beauty and wonder at the Waldorf as they light the lobby as part of a tradition that dates back to the 1930’s. Featuring over 135,572 lights, 44 Christmas trees, and 2,200 glass ornaments, your family is sure to have a magical experience.

  5. Christmas on Front
    Train Made of Christmas Lights
    Slidell’s Front Street will be decorated with LED lights spanning from West Hall to Erlanger Ave. These lights can be experienced through the end of the year.
